The Norwegian Climate and Pollution Agency (KLIF) has presented its assessment and recommendation in connection with Nordic Mining's plans for rutile production at Engebo. KLIF said sea disposal of excess minerals in the planned area in the Forde fjord might be a good solution; however, KLIF requested supplementary information regarding distribution of fine particles from the deposit, process chemicals and sound pressure effects from blasting.
